Bristol Raceway Campground

One of the biggest area of our ministry takes place in the campgrounds around Bristol Motor Speedway during each race week. Our Campground Directory contains information on each campground that we are currently active in serving. We serve by placing tents in the camgrounds and strive to help the race fans have a better experience at the race. Of course, we also look for ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, but will never do that in a way the is upsetting to anyone. We seek to only do that when the opportunity arises. Campground Tent Ministry

Bristol Raceway Ministries operates hospitality tents in 15 campgrounds near Bristol Motor Speedway. Volunteers staff these tents throughout the week to meet and minister to race fans. Christian literature and light refreshments are available. Prayer requests may be submitted by race fans. These will be prayed for on-the-spot and in the days following the races.

Campground Worship Ministry

Bristol Raceway Ministries holds a morning worship serve at the campground tents on the morning of the Nextel Cup Race (Sunday morning for the Spring race and Saturday morning for the Fall race). The Gospel message and an opportunity to respond to it is provided in these services. Worship music is also provided. For more information about the church service in the the campground where you are staying, just ask at the Raceway Ministry tent. Speakers for these services and worship leaders/musicians come from local supporting churches.

Campground Visitation Ministry

Bristol Raceway Ministries volunteers work their way throughout the campgrounds to meet race fans and perform ministry. Volunteers distribute information about campground worship service times and campground music ministry events. They also distribute cookies, Christian and race-related literature and receive prayer requests.

Campground Music Ministry

Bristol Raceway Ministries provides an evening of free Christian entertainment for race fans in the various campgrounds on one evening during the race week. This may involve a variety of forms such as music, clowns, puppets, and face painting. This entertainment is held at the campground tents. Dates for this vary by campground. Inquire at the Bristol Raceway Ministries tents for specific times.
