Overview

Bristol Raceway Ministries ("BRM," "we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals who consent to receive text message communications from our ministry. This policy applies specifically to our automated SMS messaging program and describes how we collect, use, and protect the mobile phone information you provide when opting in to receive text messages from BRM.

Information We Collect

When you opt in to receive automated SMS messages from BRM, we collect your name and mobile phone number. This information is collected through our Automated Messaging Consent Form, which requires your affirmative consent before any automated messages are sent.

How We Use Your Information

Your mobile phone number is used solely to send you text messages related to BRM volunteer activities. These messages may include event reminders, scheduling updates, weather notifications, arrival instructions, and other communications directly connected to your volunteer service. Message frequency may vary depending on event activity.

Information Sharing

No mobile information, including your phone number and SMS opt-in consent, will be shared with, sold, rented, or disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. This information is used exclusively for ministry-related communications with you. Mobile opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.

We may share limited information only when required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect the safety or legal rights of BRM or others.

Data Security

We implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your mobile phone information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. SMS consent records are retained securely as part of our administrative records for the duration of your participation in the messaging program.

Opt-Out

You may opt out of BRM automated text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. Once you opt out, you will not receive further automated messages unless you choose to opt in again. Opting out does not affect your ability to participate as a volunteer.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your messaging information at any time by contacting us at office@bristolracewayministries.org.

Changes to This Policy

BRM may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our messaging program or applicable requirements. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date.
